Mike Bradley -
Mike Bradley is a woodturner from Faringdon, Oxfordshire, where he lives with his wife and son.  He started woodturning with a local furniture maker after leaving school in 1969.  His continued love for his craft encouraged him to branch out on his own in 1981 and Mike Bradley Craftsman Woodurner, as a business, began.  He currently has a small workshop in Faringdon, specialializing in commissioned pieces and turning for the trade.  All of Mike's work is done by hand, including the large table pictured below which was commissioned for The Wish List project in 2014.  Mike believes in using traditional methods for his turning.  He always has a full size drawing to work to which is supplied by his customer or drawn out by himself.  Mike's furniture making background means he can turn his hand to most things made from wood and, as a result, has built up a fantastic reputation amongst joinery firms and furniture makers all over the UK.

In January 2008, Mike's son Adam joined the company after leaving his football coaching job.  Having studied Art at GCSE and A level, as well as spending a year at Swindon College of Art studying graphic design, Adam brings a fresh design aspect to the business.  This compliments Mike's knowledge and experience in the making field and, together, they have created some beautiful bespoke pieces.  Adam specialises in one off craft items, such as the hand turned bowls and platters, which can be seen in the picture gallery
